The National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET UG 2024) application form is now available. The students can now submit the application forms on the official NEET website neet.ntaonline.in.
The last date for filling the application form for NEET UG 2024 is March 9.
According to the official website, the online application window for NEET UG 2024 will be open from February 9 to March 9 and the exam will be held on May 5, 2024. Applicants must complete their application and pay fee transactions via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) evaluates students’ knowledge for admission to medical institutes nationwide. A successful NEET qualification allows students to apply for admission to various medical programmes, including the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), offered by recognised institutions.
How to apply for NEET 2024
Candidates must submit their application forms online on the official website exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. Applications submitted through any other method will not be accepted.
In order to apply for NEET UG 2024, follow these steps:
Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official NEET website and register your email id and phone number.
Step 2: Fill in your details to complete the online application for NEET 2024.
Step 3: Upload scanned images of the documents sought as per the specified guidelines.
Step 4: Make the payment for the application fees.
Step 5: Print the confirmation page.
Each candidate should submit only one application and strictly follow the instructions outlined in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website. Failure to comply may lead to disqualification.
Candidates must ensure that the provided email address and mobile number belong to them or their parents or guardians, as all communication from NTA will be sent through email or SMS to these registered contacts.
NTA will not be responsible for any discrepancies due to incorrect information provided by candidates.
The application fee varies:
- For General/NRI category: Rs 1700/-
- For General-EWS/OBC-NCL: Rs 1600/-
- For SC/ST/PwBD/third gender: Rs 1000/-
