Passengers from Bangkok caught with Rs 8.9 crore ganja at Hyderabad airport

The two have been arrested under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

Hyderabad: The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence Hyderabad Zonal Unit, along with customs officials, on Tuesday, March 31, caught two passengers at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport and seized 25.45 kg of hydroponic ganja valued at Rs 8.9 crore from them.

The drugs were found in the luggage of two passengers coming from Bangkok. The two have been arrested under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

Further investigation is under progress.
