Hyderabad: BMW car crashes into median at Filmnagar

Hyderabad: A BMW car allegedly driven at a highspeed crashed into a road median in Hyderabad’s Filmnagar area on Monday, March 16.

Following the accidents, air bags of the car were deployed, preventing a major mishap. The luxury car’s front portion was damaged.

Speaking to Siasat.com, Banjara Hills police said that a suomotu case has been registered and an investigation is underway.

The police registered a case against a woman named Kausar, who is the owner of the car and the driver. “A case has been registered for rash and negligent driving under section 106 (1) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The car was driven at a high speed which led to the bursting of a tyre. The drive lost control and hit the median.”
