AIMIM postpones special prayers for rains, new date soon

Hyderabad: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), on Saturday, July 25, postponed Namaz-e-Istisqa (prayer for rain).

The prayers were scheduled to take place on Sunday at 8 am. The party is yet to announce the new date.

The prayers will seek rainfall and relief as over 20 districts face deficient rains. This year, Telangana is facing a 19 per cent monsoon deficit.
