Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) on Saturday, August 22, launched the Clean and Clear Footpaths drive to remove encroachments within CMC limits.
“Cyberabad Municipal Corporation has started a drive to remove footpath encroachments, including vendors and unauthorised sheds, to restore safe and accessible pedestrian spaces,” said the corporation in a post on X.
As part of the initiative, the CMC aims to ensure safer passages for pedestrians, fewer accidents and hazards, and cleaner and more attractive streets.
An image shared by the municipal corporation shows a footpath filled with sheds and pushcarts before the drive and an empty footpath after the drive.
