Hyderabad: The Telangana cabinet on Saturday accepted a proposal to increase the number of co-option members from five to 15 in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
The GHMC had earlier invited applications for co-option members. Those who had experience in municipal administration were eligible to apply. The co-option members are eligible to take part in general body meetings of the corporation.
