Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police on Tuesday said traffic would be restricted in certain areas of the city on June 29, as Bakrid prayers happen at the Mir Alam Tank Eidgah in Bahadurpura.
Traffic will be diverted from 8:00 am to 11:30 am.
Vehicular traffic from Puranapul, Kamatipura, Kishanbagh towards the Eidgah
During the time period, traffic (Namazees) from these places will be allowed through Bahadurpura X Roads.
General traffic will not be allowed towards the Eidgah. It will be diverted at Bahadurpura ‘X’ Roads towards Kishanbagh, Kamatipura, Puranapul and so on, according to a statement from the police.
Parking places will be provided at the Parking area at Zoo Park and the open space opposite Masjid Allah- ho-Akbar.
Vehicular traffic from Shivarampally & Danamma Huts towards the Eidgah
Vehicles (Namazees) from these areas will be allowed through Dannama Huts X Roads.
General vehicular traffic will not be allowed and will be diverted at Danamma Huts ‘X’ Roads towards Shastripuram, NS Kunta and so on.
Parking places will be provided beside Modern Saw Mill Parking in front of Eidgah main road, Mir Alam filters bed, the open space beside the Mir Alam filter bed Opposite Sufi Cars and at Yadav Parking.
Vehicular traffic from Kalapather towards the Eidgah
Namazees can pass through Kalapather L&O police station.
General vehicular traffic will be diverted at Kalapather L&O police station towards Mochi Colony, Bhadurpura, Shamsheergunj and Nawab Saheb Kunta.
Vehicles can be parked at Bhayya Parking and the Indian Oil Petrol bunk.
Heavy vehicles to be diverted till dispersal of worshippers
During the time period, heavy vehicles including RTC Buses coming from Puranapul towards Bhadurpura will be diverted at Puranapul Darwaza towards Jiaguda and City College.
Heavy vehicles and RTC Buses coming from Shamshabad, Rajendra Nagar and Milardevpally towards Bhadurpura will be diverted at Aramghar Junction to Shamshabad, Rajendra Nagar and Milardevpally.
