Hyderabad: The Telangana Excise Department on Saturday, September 18, arrested a man for drug peddling in Hyderabad and seized 1.16 kg of ganja and cash worth Rs 1.34 lakh from him.
The accused, identified as Akash Singh, was arrested by Circle Inspector of Dhoolpet Excise Station, Praveen Kumar and his team while he was selling ganja near Mangalhat. A two-wheeler and cell phones were also confiscated along with the contraband and cash.
A case has been registered against Akash.
