Iranian embassy in Syria was “attacked” on Sunday, December 8 according to Iranian state TV, after rebel forces declared the collapse of Bashar al-Assad’s regime following a large-scale offensive that reached Damascus.
An unverified video reportedly published on Saudi state media indicated what appeared to be damage to the Iranian embassy and a torn poster of Qasem Soleimani, the commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Siasat.com reached out to the PRO of the Iranian embassy in Hyderabad who said no confirmation regarding the incident has been received yet.
