Hyderabad: Fire broke out near Charminar during a Milad Un Nabi rally on Thursday, September 19.
The fire broke out after a DJ’s generator caught fire due to sparks from fireworks set off by people in the procession.
However, the police immediately rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire. The area was barricaded and entry was not permitted until the fire was put out. No casualties were reported.
