CM Revanth Reddy invites Oxford University to Telangana

Reddy spoke to Professors Maya Tudor of Blavatnik School of Government and Faisal Devji of Baliol College and urged them to set up a centre in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday, August 21, invited Oxford University to offer education in Telangana as part of the Telangana Rising initiative.

Reddy spoke to Professors Maya Tudor of Blavatnik School of Government and Faisal Devji of Baliol College and urged them to set up a centre in Hyderabad, which would offer the university’s executive programmes.

Advisor and Ex-officio Special Chief Secretary, K Ramakrishna Rao, delivered a detailed presentation on the opportunities available to foreign universities as part of the Central government’s National Education Policy, stressing the advantages they would have in Hyderabad and Telangana.

Professors Tudor and Devji responded positively and offered several contexts for collaboration with the Telangana government.

The Telangana delegation also invited the Oxford representatives to send a team for the Telangana Rising Global Summit, which will be held in Hyderabad on December 7, 8 and 9, 2026.
