Hyderabad: A 22-year-old man died after consuming petrol at Lachapet in Dubbak mandal, Telangana.
The deceased has been identified as Md Fayaz, a resident of Pedda Cheekode.
The man who was in an inebriated condition emptied petrol from his bike’s fuel tank and drank it.
After the incident, he was taken to a hospital, where he remained under treatment for more than 10 days. However, he died in the hospital on Friday, March 27.
Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
