Hyderabad: A fire broke out at an air-conditioning unit in Hyderabad’s Vengal Rao Nagar on Tuesday, March 31 night, causing a loss of Rs 30 lakh.

Speaking to Siasat.com, Hyderabad District Fire Officer Sreedas said, “The fire occurred on the second floor of the G+5 building due to a short circuit and was limited to that floor.”

He said that four fire tenders were used to douse the fire. There was only one person on the floor at the time of the incident, and there were no casualties or injuries.
