Hyderabad: The Air Intelligence Unit of Customs Hyderabad caught a passenger who attempted to smuggle at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) on Saturday. Gold weighing 819 grams valued at Rs.49.79 lakhs was seized.
The passenger arrived from Dubai on an Indigo flight and concealed the gold in a grinder mixer.
The gold was found after checking the baggage.
