Hyderabad: The Telangana State Narcotics Bureau raided a rave party organized at Fresh Living Apartment under Madapur Police Station on Wednesday night.
Film producer Venkat along with five other persons were arrested in the raids conducted along with the local police.
The police raided the flat number 804 of the apartment near Hi-Tech City late at night after receiving information that drugs were being used.
They kept a vigil on Madhapur Fresh Living Apartment based on credible information of a rave party being organised.
The police inquired to find the source from where the drugs were procured. The accused were taken to the police station.
During recent raids police noticed that people mainly belonging to the film and IT industry are addicted to drug use.
In the latest incident, a film producer was caught directly using drugs and caused a stir.
Even in the past, many movie stars have been accused of using drugs, but there have been no cases where they have been caught directly. The amount of drugs seized is unclear.
