The maximum extension period for a visit visa is 180 days.

Riyadh: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) urged all holders of visit visas currently in the Kingdom to extend validity electronically at least seven days before its expiry date.

In a statement posted on X, on Monday, October 23, the General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) has clarified that there is no need to visit the Jawazat offices for extension purposes.

The directorate stated that the visit visa can be extended through the Ministry of Interior’s electronic services platform, Absher (individuals, businesses) or Muqeem electronic portal.

The beneficiary must log in to their account on these platforms and pay the service fee for the visit visa extension.
