UAE: 17-year-old Indian boy falls to death from 6th floor in Ajman

Police found his body at 5 am on Monday, October 23, in a building opposite Ajman Chamber of Commerce

Abu Dhabi: A 17-year-old boy died after falling from the 6th floor of his residential building in Ajman, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The deceased has been identified as Ruben Paulose, a native of Kollam district in the Indian state of Kerala. He was a grade 12 student at the Global Indian School in Ajman.

Police found his body at 5 am on Monday, October 23, in a building opposite Ajman Chamber of Commerce.

He had attended a community event on Sunday evening, October 22, at church with his family. It is unclear how he fell from the building.

Speaking to Siasat.com, Ajman-based social worker Ashraf Thamarassery said the mortal remains will be flown to his hometown for the final rites.

Ruben is survived by two sisters, his father Paulose George, is an entrepreneur, and his mother Asha Paulose, is a nurse working in Dubai.

Further investigations into the case are underway.
