The Congress-led UDF is seeking to wrest power from the LDF in Kerala in the April 9 assembly poll.

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will campaign for Congress candidates in the Kerala Assembly polls on April 1 and 2.

He left for the southern state from here on Tuesday night, official sources said.

The Congress-led UDF is seeking to wrest power from the LDF in Kerala in the April 9 assembly poll.

Rahul Gandhi’s massive roadshow

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday took part in a massive roadshow in Koyilandy here.

After attending three election rallies in Kannur and Kozhikode districts, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha arrived in Koyilandy here for the roadshow.

Accompanied by the Congress and Muslim League leaders, Gandhi took part in the roadshow, which covered a few kilometres.

A large crowd gathered on both sides of the road, cheering the Congress leader.

Gandhi stood on an open vehicle and waved to the crowd.

Congress candidate from Koyilandy and Kozhikode DCC president K Praveenkumar and AICC general secretary K C Venugopal were also in the vehicle.

Gandhi has been in Kerala since Monday as part of the election campaign for the Congress and UDF candidates for the April 9 Assembly elections.
