Telangana Congress to hold ‘Chalo Raj Bhavan’ on Wednesday

The protest is being held against PM Modi's Modi's response towards the allegations of corruption against Gautam Adani in the US and the violence in Manipur.

Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) announced ‘Chalo Raj Bhavan’ on Wednesday, December 18, in its protest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s response towards the allegations of corruption against Gautam Adani in the US and the violence in Manipur.

A rally will be organised by Congress leaders and workers from Indira Gandhi’s statue on Necklace Road to Raj Bhavan.

Congress leaders including chief minister A Revanth Reddy, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, AICC in-charge of Telangana Deepadas Munshi, Congress MLAs, MLCs, MPs and senior leaders will participate in the protest.

The decision came following the direction from the All India Congress Committee which has asked its state units to hold protests at Raj Bhavans on these two issues.

The Congress has been accusing PM Modi of remaining mum on the indictment of Adani in a US court, and not visiting the violence-hit Manipur where ethnic clashes have continued to claim the lives of the people there fro almost one and a half years.
