Stray dogs found nibbling body in mortuary
Another incident highlighting the stray dog menace in Telangana was reported earlier in the day on Tuesday, March 3, where stray dogs were allegedly found nibbling at a body kept in the postmortem room of the Government General Hospital in Jadcherla.
The body belonged to a lorry driver from Nagasala village, in Jadcherla named Pole Bheemeshwar, who had left home on Saturday and was found dead in a lake on Monday.
Police had shifted the body to the Jadcherla government hospital for postmortem examination. However, family members have alleged that the body was placed on the floor due to a lack of a stretcher.
There was also no security in place, which allowed stray dogs to enter the postmortem room, the family alleged.
