BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Wednesday criticised successive Congress governments for failing to address necessities like water supply and electricity despite ruling for over 50 years. He said, “Congress keeps asking for chances to fail. They were offered many chances and they did not do anything.”
While addressing a public meeting in Peddapalli district, he said, “14 times you gave them mauka (chance), and you got dhoka (betrayal). We solved water and electricity problems, which Congress could not do in years.”
He also asked Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President Revanth Reddy, “How is more than 3 hours of electricity enough for the people of Telangana?” He further said, “Karnataka government only supplies five hours of electricity, and farmers, in a protest against them, captured a crocodile and left it in the sub-station office today.”
KT Rama Rao even posted a video on X earlier this morning:
Providing more details about the ‘KCR Bharosa’ scheme, he said that “Rythu Bandhu” benefit will be hiked from Rs 10,000 to Rs 16,000 per acre, and LPG cylinder refills will be provided Rs 400.
The Aasara Pension Scheme will be increased to Rs 5,016, starting from Rs 3,000, while disabled pensioners will receive a monthly pension of Rs 6,016, up from the current Rs 4,016. KT Rama Rao also urged Peddapalli people to vote for MLA Dasari Manohar Reddy.
