A 27-year-old student from Telangana has tragically passed away in a jet ski accident in Florida, USA. He was pursuing a master’s degree at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).
According to Local 10 News, the incident occurred around 12:30 pm on March 9 at Fury Playground near Wisteria Island.
Another boy remains unharmed
The other jet ski involved was operated by a 14-year-old boy who fortunately remained unharmed.
The student who lost his life in the US accident has been identified as Venkataramana. He was from Kazipet.
Telangana students die in US road accidents
Last year, three students from Telangana died in a road mishaps in the US, all from Hyderabad.
In April 2023, two master’s students lost their lives in a road mishap on the Johnsburg highway in Kentucky, US. They were identified as Mohd Faisal and Ishamuddin.
Another female student lost her life in a road accident in the country in October last year. The student, identified as Pratiksha Kunwar, was pursuing a Master’s in Business Analysis. She passed away in a road accident in Cheney, Kansas, in the US.
