Rapido driver among 5 held for dangerous bike stunts in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Saifabad Police, on Thursday, April 2, arrested five people, including a Rapido driver, for overloading and allegedly performing dangerous stunts in Hyderabad.

The arrests were made based on video evidence collected from an Instagram account, “INFO 24 NEWS.” The incident occurred on March 29 when the accused bikers reportedly drove rashly from Telangana Talli Flyover Junction towards the Secretariat, risking the lives of commuters.

Police arrested Vaddi Arjun, 22, from Vidyanar; Arupu Rohit, 19, from Manikeshwar Nagar; Chinthakunta Anja Kumar, 19, from Ramnagar Gundu; Siddam Koushik, 18, from Manikeshwar Nagar and Vallapu Murali, 18, from Adikmet.

Vaddi Arjun was the rider while the remaining rode pillion.

Anja Kumar and Koushik are students, Arjun works as a private employee, Murali is a car mechanic and Rohit is a Rapido driver.

A case has been registered and further investigatsion are on.
