AP: CM Jagan calls for implementation of Gadapa Gadapaku program

To ensure that the program is qualitatively implemented, Jagan has ordered formation of committees which will supervise the same in each district.

Amravati: Andhra Pradesh (AP) chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday called for the implementation of the Gadapa Gadapaku program across the state.

The chief minister ordered the councillors to ensure that the program is implemented in six wards every month. He further asked them to be proactive in promoting the YSR Congress Party’s (YSRCP) agenda as they have been entrusted to do so.

To ensure that the program is qualitatively implemented, Jagan has ordered the formation of committees which will supervise the same in each district. Addressing a meeting regarding the Gadapa Gadapku program, the chief minister said, “We are funding village and ward secretariats and each constituency with Rs 20 lakh and Rs 1.20 crores respectively, these must be put to best use.”

Jagan further said that women should have proper representation in committees overseeing the implementation of the program, this is being enforced as part of AP’s women empowerment initiative. The chief minister added that he would interact with 50 cadres from each constituency to take stalk of the progress of the program.

On May 11, the AP administration introduced the Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabuthavam initiative. The massive mass-contact programme formerly known as “Gadapa Gadapaku” by the Jagan-led YSRC administration is now known as “Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhuthvam.”

The Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam’s main goals are to raise public awareness of the government’s policies and initiatives, to make sure that all eligible people receive benefits, and to solicit feedback and suggestions from the general public in order to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.
