Hyderabad: Telangana Housing Board Vice Chairperson VP Gautham announced that the final list of beneficiaries for the Indiramma Housing Towers will be announced on August 25, and the lottery for allocating homes will be held on August 27.
The lottery process will conclude on August 30. The Housing Board had invited applications under a pilot project for 7,340 homes across 16 Assembly constituencies.
Applications received via MeeSeva centres, online portals and WhatsApp MeeSeva are being scrutinised.
A final list is being prepared after verifying whether applicants are permanent residents of Hyderabad and whether they own a flat or plot within the Outer Ring Road (ORR) area. Applicant details were uploaded to online portals on August 20. Objections to these details can be submitted by August 23, and the final list will be announced on August 25.
The lottery will be conducted as per reservation categories, including SC, ST, BC and differently‑abled persons.
A waiting list comprising 20 per cent of applicants will also be prepared for each category, and the names for it will also be selected through lottery.
