Meanwhile, on the work front, Mahesh’s latest movie was ‘Guntur Kaaram,’ directed by Trivikram Srinivas.

It hit theaters during Sankranthi and is now available on Netflix. The film clashed with other releases like ‘HanuMan,’ ‘Saindhav,’ and ‘Naa Saami Ranga.’ It featured a star-studded cast including Sreeleela, Ramya Krishnan, Prakash Raj, Jayaram, Jagapathi Babu, and Meenakshi Chaudhary.

This marked the third collaboration between the director and actor.

His next project, yet to start filming, is a big-budget venture with director SS Rajamouli, known for his previous hit ‘RRR.’ Although details about the cast and crew remain undisclosed, the movie is said to be an action-adventure in the vein of ‘Indiana Jones.’

During a special screening of RRR in Japan, Rajamouli revealed that he has completed writing the script for the upcoming film, which is currently in the pre-production phase.
