Hyderabad: A general holiday for Diwali has been declared by the state government for Monday, October 24, instead of October 25. (Tuesday).
According to a government order published here on Thursday by Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, given the information provided by the Telangana Commissioner of Endowments, the government had made the decision to partially alter earlier regulations, moving the holiday from Tuesday to Monday.
