Dipke thanks Mohammad for providing food on Day 3 of CJP protest

"This is what they want to ruin, but we will not let them," said protesters at the site.

New Delhi: As the Cockroach Janta Party (CPJ) protest entered its third day on Monday, June 22, at New Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, the organisation’s founder, Abhijeet Dipke, thanked local volunteer Mohammed Junaid for providing refreshments throughout the demonstrations.

The CJP continued their sit-in at the protest site over the NEET (UG) paper leak, calling for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendhar Pradhan, who has yet to acknowledge the movement.

The party shared a video on the social media platform X, where Dipke was seen thanking Junaid for distributing snack boxes and juice to the youth and other participants of the protests.

Dipke touched Junaid’s feet to show his appreciation and the two shared a hug. “Thank you so much, sir. Kal se aap sabko khaana khilarahe ho, sharbat pila rahe ho (you have been serving food and drinks to everyone since yesterday).”

The CJP founder called on the other protesters to give Junaid a round of applause. “This is what they want to ruin, but we will not let them,” said another demonstrator.

Junaid said, “Hum sab Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Isahi, apas me bhai bhai (We are all Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs and Christians, we are brothers),” followed by collective chants of “Dharmendar Pradhan istifa do (Dharmendra Pradhan, resign).”

Desh ki shisksha vyavasta ko agar aap tod denge toh desh ka bhavishya kya hoga. Isiliye hum sab milkar ek hi awaaz utharahe hai (If the country’s education system is dismantled, what will become of the nation’s future? That is why we have all united to raise a single voice),” Junaid continued.

Hamari nahi koi jaat hai nahi koi dharm hai. Hamare chaatro ki bhavashye surakshit hona chahiye aur bharat ki shisksha vyavasta hai woh achi hone chahiye uske liye hum lagatar protest kar rahe hai (We belong to no specific caste or religion; our sole concern is ensuring a secure future for our students and a better education system for India — for which we are continuously protesting),” he said.

Junaid added, “Yeh kisi ek vyakti ka ladai nahi hai hum sabki ladai hai and yeh bohot bada movement hai aur bharat ke aane wali shiksha vyavasta mein parivartan laane aur hum lakar rahenge. Inquilaab zindabaad (This is not the fight of just one individual; it is a collective struggle and a massive movement aimed at transforming India’s education system, a transformation we are determined to achieve. Long live the revolution).”
