New Delhi: A protest meeting on \u201cWhere is Najeeb?\u201d was organised by United against Hate at Jantar Mantar yesterday afternoon. \n\n\n\nNajib\u2019s mother, Nafisa-ji, and Tabrez Ansari\u2019s wife, Gauri Lankesh\u2019s sister and Subodh Singh\u2019s wife spoke on the occasion. \n\n\n\nJNUSU President Aishe Ghosh, Professor Apurvanand, activist Umar Khalid, author Arundhati Roy, lawyer Prashant Bhushan, teacher leader Nandita Narain and student leaders from Jamia Millia, JNU, DU, Jamia Hamdard, UAH and SIO also addressed on the occasion. \n\n\n\nA large number of students from different Universities of Delhi joined the protest. They also raised slogans against the authoritarian regime and called for unity of all democratic, secular forces.\n\n\n\nAccording to Counter Currents, the speakers expressed their resolve to take the movement against Najib\u2019s disappearance forward to its conclusion. They said the case of Najib symbolised the ruthless attempt to change the environment of a peaceful unified society into a divisive one pitting one group against the other based on hate and discrimination.
