Hyderabad: The Rein Bazar police in Hyderabad on Friday, August 21, returned 11 lost and stolen mobile phones worth Rs 1 lakh, recovered through the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal, to their owners.
Rein Bazar police Station House Officer, CH Nethaji, handed over the mobile phones to the complainants at the Rein Bazar Police Station. The mobile phones were traced using their respective IMEI numbers through the CEIR portal, following complaints received from the respective mobile phone owners.
The police team made dedicated efforts to trace and recover the lost/missing devices and ensure their safe return to the rightful owners.
