NEW DELHI: A couple and their juvenile accomplice was arrested on Thursday last week for allegedly looting a woman at gunpoint in southeast Delhi's New Friends Colony.\r\n\r\nAccording to reports published in Hindustan Times, Jubair alias Tukda (23) and his 21-year-old wife, Huda fromUttar Pradesh\u2019s Aligarh and their 20-year-old accomplice Adnan alias Golden, a resident of Ghaziabad had committed over two dozen heinous crimes, including murder and string of armed robberies.\r\n\r\nThe arrest came following an investigation into a robbery case filed by a 35-year-old woman on March 5. The victim in her complaint lodged at the NFC police station alleged that three-bike borne men robbed of the bag filled with cash and her gold chain at gunpoint while returning home along with her husband and two children after visiting a bank. The trio fled the spot.\r\n \r\nPolice claimed that they were running gang that robbed people. And with the arrest of trio, thirteen cases of robbery, murder, and snatching were solved. \r\n\r\n\u201cJunair was a key member of Muneer\u2019s gang. After Muneer\u2019s arrest, Junair took charge of the gang. He was also wanted in a murder case in Aligarh in which a \u20b920,000 reward had been announced on his arrest,\u201d Chinmoy Biswal, DCP (southeast) told Hindustan Times.\r\n\r\n\u201cTwo countrymade pistols, six bullets, a stolen gold chain and a motorcycle used in the crime were seized. Efforts are on to nab the other suspects\u2014one Salman and the minor boy\u2014who were involved in the robbery,\u201d Biswal said.
